Setup Guide – zingprinters

Printer head (TPH) may be very hot. Please do not touch
the printer head or parts around it after printing.

Ensure Zing is turned off.
Connect the power cable to Zing and to the power source.
Connect the USB cable to your Zing to the computer.
Open and load your labels in – Print side facing up.
Adjust the taps as needed and close the top.
Turn the power switch to on.
This will now run the automatic label identification. This will learn your label size and will only need to be done once, unless you change your label size.
Press and hold the bottom on the top until you hear one beep, then let go.
Zing has now identified your label and the tear off point. Remove labels and feed in from the back again, this way no labels are wasted.

Please download the latest version of Zing Windows Driver or install from disc.
Depending on your browser settings, it will be saved to your default download location. File name is “Zing-Windows-Latest.”
For example, on Chrome, it will become visible at bottom-left of the screen and saved in “Downloads” folder by default.
For security reasons, driver file is placed within zip file. Please extract / open / run the installer within this zip file and follow the installer steps.
After installation, please go to your Window’s Printers and you should now see “Zing Printer”. You can reach this page by going to Control Panel -> Devices and Printers.
Right click on “Zing Printer” and choose Printing Preferences.
Under Layout tab, click on “Advanced…”
Select your label size from the drop down menu. Most 4 x 6 shipping labels are 100 x 150mm. Click Ok to save your settings.

1. Zing requires OS X 10.9 or newer.
Please download the latest version of Zing Mac Driver or Install from disc.
When you open the download file, you should see the screen shown below. It is highly recommended that you open the installation guide so you can follow along.
Please double click on the pkg installer to begin.
Follow the installation steps until you receive “Installation was successful” message shown below.
Open your Mac’s “Settings” and click on “Printers and Scanners.”
On the next window, press “+” Click on Zing Thermal Printer, and then choose “Select Software” in the drop down menu.
Please search / find “Zing Printer” and click OK.
Click on “Add”
When you see a green light next to Zing-Windows-Latest Thermal Printer, you are all set.
You may wish to print a Sample 4 x 6 Shipping Label.
In the print dialogue, please be sure to select your “Paper Size” appropriately (for example 4 x 6)
